Sexy Beach Body Workout


Hi everyone,

With summer nearly upon us, I think it’s time we up our game to ensure we look our best on the beach!

Today’s workout is body weight only, but will still give you a real burn! It lasts 15 minutes and will hit most parts of the body, while helping you burn fat now and for hours after this workout.

The Workout

There are 5 exercises and 3 rounds. I set my Gymboss Interval Timer for 15 cycles of 15 seconds rest and 45 seconds MAX effort.

The exercises are:

  1. Squats (33 – 31 – 32)
  2. Burpees (without pushup) (18 – 18 – 20)
  3. Reptile Push Ups (14 – 12 🙁 – 15)
  4. Lunge Jumps (24 – 23 – 23) 1 rep = one jump
  5. Bicycle (34 – 28 – 26) – 1 rep = one side

    Hi Marianne, thanks for this workout. I just finished it and it was tough. I hope you do more bodyweight workouts since I don’t do kettlebell training

    Hi Marianne

    I notice you don’t wear shoes for this type of workout. I don’t with KB training either but don’t know how I’d go with the plyo lunges without my shoes. How did your feet handle those?

      Hey Lynda, my feet were fine once I got into a rhythm, but at first it was a bit ropey LOL, really want to get a pair of “five fingers” for training outside to save my poor wee tootsies 🙂
